Hi Jane! You are trying to trick me and you have succeeded. I don't know which beautiful photo/photos you have added to this album and I've really been looking, but I have blurry eyes from seeing the granddaughters flittering by and we're having lots of fun. So I'll just repeat that I love the whole album. Oregon has so much beautiful scenery! Lots of hugs! Sharon

Hi Jane! We are so glad that you are taking photos once more! We love the new additions to the album. Especially Minature Waterfall, Spring Thaw and Lost Creek Covered Bridge. We still think January Sunrise is such a beautiful and a breathtaking photo! You have such a different variety in this album and it is always difficult to pick favorites. All of the scenic photos and florals are so very captivating, too. Thanks for sharing another album filled with your beautiful photos! Lots of hugs from us both, Bill and Kay

Jane this album of yours holds so much beauty and many new experiances for me.I love the way you set your subjects and each photograph is wonderfully composed -visiting each and every one of your albums is always a joy for me.I loved all of your messages -Mikey and John can no longer fit through the doorway -their heads are too big -LOL ;o)))))we all say heartfelt thankyou's.I don't know if we live in the 'Garden of Eden' -having never travelled it is hard for me to say -everywhere holds immense and glorious beauty in its own unique way -I guess ours is just as facinating to those who haven't experianced it first hand as I find all others.I do know though that many refer to New Zealand as 'God's Zone'.I know we do not have the extremes of heat and cold that many parts of our wonderful world experiance and also because of our wee population around -4 million -we probably do not have the polution that many face. Most Kiwis are VERY PRECIOUS about keeping New Zealand beautiful and here one can always find places easily that make one feel as though they are the sole human on the universe -if that type of feeling is one you revelle in then it fills your soul to the point of tears.I know that is how I feel here and try to convey that in my photography as I find that to be rich food to nourish my soul.I so love hearing from you -you always encourage me to strive for more depth and perfection and not to be embarrassed with my results -thankyou from my heart dear Jane -bigs cuddles from New Zealand -Lynne

Hi Jane. Neat idea here. What a trip! I love the spring pictures, especially the red wildflower. January Sunrise is a WOW+! The winter pictures, well, brr. Feel the cold. Looks like the view from the front of our house. The river here is still frozen, the snow still lingers, (today is supposed go to 40). Spring is still a dream. The ice breakers are still working the rivers around Annapolis and other areas so the watermen can get out. There was a news article about a guy who lives on his sailboat and is totally iced in, and he is going to stay out in the middle of the river and wait for spring. I would be afraid of the boat bring crunched. Next week I am going back to Shallotte, NC. It has been in the 50's there and perhaps some spring things will be there. And, yes, Prancer will make room for us on the bed. He shares the living room couch, too. He still needs alot of reassurance, but he is gradually overcoming his insecurities. Can you imagine his reaction the first time Charlie yelled at the Panthers during the Super Bowl? Poor Prancer jumped up and had this poor, pathetic, what did I do wrong, look on his face. He hates the snow, especially now it is all ice-crusted and is going a little stir-crazy. Throwing the ball up the stairs seems to help get rid of the excess energy. Take care, gal, and keep thinking Spring and warm, sunny, flowery thoughts. Louise

Hi Jane first I must thank you for visiting my web-site and the kind comments and your concern for my well being. I’m walking with out crutches now and can get around fairly well. - You have put together a beautiful album. I enjoyed it’s mix of color and themes, as I was looking at your album it reminded me of a box of Whitman Samplers a lot of verity and all so very good. Norm

Hi Jane. The additions to your album remind me that Central New York is not the only cold place in the country at this time of the year. As I write this message it's 8 degrees above zero and the wind chill is at minus 1 (a real heat wave). I hope The Ice Fishing or Testing Their Luck? (#34) photo showed the footprints of fishermen. We recently had a couple of teenagers in the area go into the water when they guessed wrong about the thickness of the ice. While I've seen many artistic fractals posted on Webshots, mine are pretty much a result of experimenting by stretching, rotating and zooming in on sections of the image. I don't have anything in mind as I begin to work with a fractal and have learned to frequently save the parameter file in case something goes awry. If it does, I close the current file without saving it and revert to a previous version. I often find that just altering the color makes it a keeper. Richard

Hi Jane! Oregon is such a beautiful state. You guys are so lucky to live out there! I would just go crazy if I could go a few miles and see a mountain; I mean a real mountain, like in mountain majesty; not these little hills we have around here. But you know, no matter where we go, our own yards are really the prettiest places on earth because they're home! :-)))))) Lots of hugs! Sharon

Hi again Jane--refreshing my memory again with your beautiful shots of Oregon. On your question in my "Study Site" album about my research. My research is on bird behavior, lately I have been studying mating and breeding behavior in field sparrows. Most of the work is done around or shortly after sunrise--thus a lot of fog in those shots on my research site.
