Hello Suresh, wonderfull photos of an area I will only see on TV now. Thnkyou for your very kind words on my windmills album. I only collect them as I travel around, I look at the map & if I can divert from my route within reason I do so. Then I have to take pot luck on the weather & condition of the mills. Many in UK are painted with black tar to keep out the rain, another hazard! Eric

Hi dear Suresh!! Many thanks for your kind visit and comments on my album about Nepal etc... Yes, you are right : we have seen the same places in different moments. That was my first travel in Asia and I could say it was a wonderful "brushstroke of Orient"!!! This your splendid album reminds me the most beautiful moments of that trip, once again thanks for sharing with us Suresh. Best regards, Peppino.

Hello Suresh, I have seen most of your albums but it seems I missed a few in the past. I think the albums of all your travels are breathtaking, always conveying the true charm of the region. This fine album makes no exception. It is nice to see though, how the technique has evoluated. The technical quality of your shots has improved a lot during the years. And we are just six years further now! Thanks very much for all your comments on my Monument Valley album. Very much appreciated! Have a wonderful weekend, Tjebbe

Dear friend Suresh, J've never seen before this outstanding album of a place so different from my country. The portraits are suberb and the first one is a masterpiece. The particulars are all very interesting, the landscapes great and the colours vivid (like always). All the pictures are professional although in 2003 the level of the digital photography was not like in 2008. Hugs from Italy. Franco P.s: what's about your next trip?

Hello My Friend! I came searching for any new gems and found an older one, but a Good One!! Your travels through the Himalayas must have been very enjoyable and rewarding, just as all of your imagery shows! Your talented eye for details and composition is amazingly keen for this, one of your first photographic portfolios...I'm Impressed with your beginning style, which has served you well!! Gracious Thanks for sharing your new found art here in the WS community, always so pleasurable and educational viewing, Suresh!! Hope you are doing well..Take Care and GB, Ted

Hello Suresh! Thank you for taking us to the lofty heights and sacred places in the Himalayas! What a deeply impressive trip this must have been. I've dreamt of this for many years now, even got to fly over the Himalayas 2x at 39.000ft, on the way from Singapore to Germany but each time it rumbled so bad(turbulence) I had to keep my eyes closed and missed most of it,lol! As always it is such a pleasure coming to visit your albums! I've just returned last week and want to thank you for your kind comments in support of my protest album. It has been very difficult for me to return to w/s this time, so much sad news of people leaving and being unhappy. Traffic has dropped tremendously also(g/bs, messages, views). The place has turned into a graveyard. Even featured albums being back is somewhat of a joke, so few views, so few g/bs. How something so fun and wonderful(w/s) can turn so sad and ugly in such a short time, amazing. All inspiration and motivation to make albums has gone down the drain. I am happy for now, dear Suresh, to still see you here! Have a wonderful weekend, Marita

Dear Suresh, I know this is one of your older albums but my eldest son passed through Kathmandu just a couple of years ago now, when doing a trek so it interests me greatly. Suresh how is I have never found your albums until very recently ? LOL. No matter I have now and am aware you are over on Fotki too where I'm sure I've made you a friend. I was just sitting here getting some pictures to load when all your lovely messages about my favourites album were filling my inbox ;o) Thank you so much for your kindness. I'm so glad I have found your pictures now whether it is here or elsewhere. I've a feeling I will be seeing more of them real soon. Take care now, Jill

Hello Suresh; This was a very interesting album. What wonderful travels you have been on to see so many unusual things. So different from anything I have seen. I have been adding more photos to my "Japanese gardens" album and my "Life and the Beach" albums. Our weather here has been so beautiful, I knew that I had to get out and get some pictures before the rains start. I hope that you have a few minutes to come and take a look. Thank you for sharing your beautiful and thoughtful photos. It is always a special treat to come and see your photos. Best Wishes to you, Marjie

Liliana

Dear Suresh, I viewed this album many months ago, but must not have had time to leave a message. It is a wonderful glimpse into this region - one I will probably never get the opportunity to see. I love the cover photo, and all the people shots, and also #8 - very inviting! I am taking a world music class this semester and studying about the people of this and nearby areas, and their religions and music, and this makes it all come so much more alive for me. My professor, Laxmi Tewari, is an accomplished classical raga singer from the north of India who has researched the music of this area extensively. He is able to bring the music to life with recordings he has made in his travels, but what was missing for me until now were the images. Thank you! Warmest greetings from California, Beth

Suresh, I loved your photos in "Glimpses of Nepal." I think you've captured the people and scenery just as well as any I've seen. You have quite an artistic "eye" making what some might consider ordinary works of art. I loved the portrait works of the Nepalese people, especially the woman carrying her child and the "All Smiles" lady. Please look at my album "The Way We Were" to browse through some of my pix while in India. Kat from Pennsylvania, USA

Ciao Suresh! Visit your "old" and analogic (I suppose) shots it's always a GREAT experience. Fantastic shots and landscapes (I think it's better if I hide my poor Alps) and mainly incredible portraits as usual. Shots 1 and 22 are true Matsrepieces. THANKS for the lesson! Ruggero

Hello Suresh, Another great album. How beautiful is the woman in photo 1, and also the one in 7. A lovely glimpse of life and living in this so well known, and yet so little known part of the world. Thankyou for showing it to us. Thankyou too for viewing my pictures of my ride up Snowdon. Yes, it was appaling weather for taking photographs, really dark, but knowing it to be a place of endless myths and legends, SO appropriate! (I have altered the heading to my album to try to express this feeling.) One day I would like to go there again at a more sunny time of the year, to see it in a different mood. Thanks for your kind words. I truly mean what I said about how much pleasure you bring to people like me. I send you happy greetings from England, with best wishes, dear friend (thankyou)....Sheila.

Have not looked at all your photos yet, but will try to do so.
