Enjoyed this album Suresh, that as others have said shows a different side to India than that we usually see. Cool hills in a hot climate must be a fantastic ideal. sorry i have missed this album before now. Many thanks again for your kind comments on my Norway album. If you do decide to go there again we found june to be a better time than july/aug. We went to north cape some years ago in june & the midnight sun was great & a lot more water in the waterfalls than our recent trip. Eric

Hi Suresh, what a pleasant place this is. I visited Cochin and then Bombay some thirty years ago, what a contrast these two places were for me. Now Kadaikanal gives me the impression that it is similar to Cochin. Regards from Paul in Canada.

Suresh, I want to tell you I feel deep sorrow for your country and compatriots because of the Tsunami disaster! Take care my friend. This is a very strange India or not India at all! I thought I was in a mountain resort in Switzerland or Austria! Just some pictures of the locals and a view of the town, plus the temple reminded me that the album shows a place in India! I got used with the image of India introduced to us by our friend Jacques [pfjc]. I am aware that you visited his albums. Thank you so much for visiting my featured album and leaving in the guestbook such a lovely message! I appreciate it dearly! Friendly regards from Japan,Gabriela

My wonderful and beloved India! I don't know Madras, but I have been in Dehly, Jaipur, Agra, Varanasi, Kajuraho... I remember to be crying in front of the Taj Mahal seeing such a beauty. My pics of Cordoba are the first ones I make with my digital camera, one year ago. Before, I only made touristic photos when I was travelling. Before going to Cordoba I went to Granada and I made lots of photos on his beautiful Alhambra but, as I didn't know the camera, I made a mistake and I erase more than 150 pics I have done!!! I'm only an amateur, nobody has teach me and every day I feel more and more happy if somebody likes one of my pics. Thank you for your beautiful albums and for your nice words on my guestbook, Suresh. Greetings from Joana. (Are you able to understand my english?)

Hi Suresh! Thank you for your message, and sorry for my late response, as I've been very busy this week. I'm glad you enjoyed "climbing&qu ot; Mount Kackar thourgh my album. The hardest thing there was the fierce wind, but it was still a wonderful experience. Even the misty scenery, which looks bleak, was fun. You are right, the pool does look like a footprint of a giant, I didn't even notice it! I have viewed all your albums in the past but haven't commented on all of them, so I will comment this album now. It is a beautiful and diverse collection. An old Kodaikanal house on the lake road is probably my favorite picture. Kodaikanal looks like a very nice place to spend a relaxed summer vacation. I'm not quite sure why you call it "quaint" ;, but then again, it's the only album you have of India. I hope there will be more. I haven't been to India, which almost makes me a minority among Israelis my age.. Would love to see more of India from an Indian perspective. For now, best wishes, Orly

Hello Suresh! Wonderful pics! I've not been to Kodaikanal yet. But hoping to visit one day. "Pillar rocks" is very interesting. You're so lucky to be staying close to this wonderful place. I've a plan to visit my native place next year and also have a plan to visit the famous Palani temple. I think it'll be a wonderful idea to take picture of Palani hill temple. Have you been there? I've been there at least 3 times! (during my school days) Love the enviornment and friendly people of Palani. Cheers, SJ

Hi Suresh. Just want to thank you for the lovely tour around Kodaikanal of the old and the new and the people who live and work there. It's nice to see that sunflowers are pretty in any country, and I just love that little bee in flight! Great shot. But my favorite photo is 'The bridge over Pambar river' where my mind stopped to sit, smell, listen and linger. It's a lovely touch with the three little flowers in the corner -- just an all-around beautiful photo!!! Nancy

Hi Suresh, now I really have to visit India someday, this place is enticing!! Thanks for the wonderful tour, the gorgeous pics and the nourishment I've obtained from viewing these fine albums. O by the way I esp. loved that picture a misty day with the umbrella, neat shot. Also the reflection shot on the lake with the canoe. They were all gr8, hard to choose. Thanks again and will be back.
