Hard to imagine it has been that long ago, but I recall the incredible beauty and that huge sky. We were in Kalispell that summer and saw many of the lakes and meadows in that area. Bonjour Sharon and Bob,this album was a total joy to visit,i just loved the slide show,amazing vistas one after the other,i definitely would love to visit that beautiful park.Thanks for your beautiful pictures,i almost felt like i was on that trip with you!I'm really sorry that i did not give any sign of life before,up and downs in the health area kept me off the camera for a little while,than the WS disaster happened,i've waited and waited but nothing is left from that great website that we all loved,the arrogance of the staff is unbelievable,we are being treated like children,and most of all the quality of the pictures is so atrocious now,did you download a pro shot lately as a wallpaper,it looks like a bad scanned low reaolution pictures,i just can't believe they've sank so low.That's why like most of ours friends i've moved to Fotki,it's paradise compare to the WS hell,the quality of the pictures is just amazing,the customer service is just incredible,so many great options ,the slide show which they called diaporama is out of this world,that's why so many people made the move...Like all the others it broke my heart,but i think everybody felt they were not welcome at WS anymore,and everybody is just waiting for their account to close.But i will stay as a free member only because i have some very Dear Friends at WS and i want to keep in touch with them as much as i can,your guestbook entry touched me very deeply,i miss both of you and i will be checking your updated as often as i can.Take care my Friends!Luc

Sharon, I viewed this on slideshow and it brought back such beautiful memories of our trip in 2004. This year, it was on fire, and we the gates were closed. I hope some of the beauty is still there. Hello Sharon. Thank you for visiting my Yosemite album today. I have not been spending much time here since the change over and then I was gone for two weeks on my holiday. This past week has been spent trying to get my images organized for albums and uploading. I still have many to go! I took well over 3000 images while gone and I could not see putting them all in one album! lol Sorry, I have not visited lately. This album is a stunner! I lived just outside of Missoula on Hwy 93. I have visited here many times and have a trip planner in the future to also include Canada. Seeing your photos brings back some wonderful memories and I thank you for that. Hello again, Sharon, I was in the mood for a visit today, and stumbled onto this beauty! This mountain scenery is just what I needed. I miss living close to the mountains, I am from Germany and we'd often just climb in the car and head for the beautiful alps (only 4hrs away, at 110mph!). I was really surprised to find out there's a national Park like this in Montana, also. I only know glacier np in Canada, I'll have to get out the map. Thanks for reminding me there still a lot of awesome places in America I haven't been to yet, this looks like a spot not to miss. Hi Sharon, Scenery is scenery, it is the same to all of us except that whenever you take the pics they are so much better, It is no coincident that it happens all the time, these pictures are absolutely stunning a joy for somebody such as I who lives in a flat landscape, where a hill is a humped back bridge, the only time we need to put a handbrake on is having to stop at the bottom of one. Totally enjoyed your pics of Glacier, I went cross country last september on a motorcycle and bought a national parks pass and glacier was #1 of the parks I wanted to see but unfortunately the fire had picked up and I had to go thru the northern cascades instead but there's always next year

The slideshow which I just viewed of Glacier National Park, Montana brought back memories of my trip there in 1987. It is just awesome and I would consider it the most beautiful place to visit in North America! Just viewing the scenes again has created an interest in returning again to this beautiful spot. Hi Sharon. You asked how I sneak up on those butterflies. Sometimes it isn't easy. I Have a new digital camera with a zoom lens, that helps, and sometimes they don't seem to be afraid of me. I usually take several pictures, and pick out the best ones and delete the others. There's a lot of different kinds of butterflies starting to show up now, but they don't stay long enough for me to get my camera. So get your camera stand very still for a few minutes, and they usually come. You have a great day, Dwight.

What fantastic photos!! Colors are wonderful! You guys did a great job this time as always. These are some of the best photos I have ever seen of Glacier. Some of the spots where you took pics I didn't even recognize & we have driven the Going-to-the-sun road so many times! I loved Hidden Lake which is where we were never able to hike due to grizzly sightings! The trail was alwyas closed when we were there. Now I can see what we missed! Was that snow the mountain goats were on? Thanks so much for sharing. Waiting to look at the rest of them as I ran out of time today. Flo

Sharon this must have been such a wondeful vacation! Did you go on the boat? I'm going to Lake George just for a weekend. Hope the weather is good. It's going to rain here for 6 days!
