15th Mission , founded in 1797, sits right on the San Andreas Fault. Destroyed by an earthquake in 1803 and replaced by a larger church.

Great album! This is one of the 4 missions (San Juan Bautista, San Antonio, San Rafael & one in Sonoma) I haven't seen yet. I've visited all those in SoCal but captured them in film. Maybe I have to revisit them with my digicam so I can complete my California Missions album. In addition to the sacredness of the churches, I love visiting them for their history and architecture. Glad that we have something in common:-)!

Hi! Thanks for this great tour! I can't believe the state of CA doesn't try to preserve it. It's really a beautiful place. I thought the location of the pupit was interesting!
