Hi Maureen Bow Cottages, is that next door to Mr Turk? If so I lived next door from 1953 to 1960 at which time the cottages were teid and owned by Whitbread where my Grandad worked. I am trying to build a website of wateringbury as I knew it as a child and would like to borrow photos from the 50's and 60's. I would take extra care of any I am loaned and would collect and return them personally. I would also be interested in any history.

We have a picture of the new Guide & Scout Headquarters building in Glebe Meadow, taken yesterday. Would you like it? By the way I live in Bow Cottages, No 63 Bow Road.

Hello Kevin. Great pictures. I was thrilled to view them because my grandfather was born in Waterinbury in 1864 and since I live in the USA I will likely never be able to visit there. Thanks.

Hi Kevin, I see you live in a nice and green little village as it shows in your pictures. Great I liked your pictures and I added you to my favorites! I like the english countryside as I see it in the dramas of the BBC (like Heartbeat for example) and I plan to visit some day. The problem is that there are so many beautful sites like I see from your pictures and I am afraid I will not have enough time for all. You are invited to see my albums with pic I took from other parts of the world especially my country Israel (I live in Tel Aviv) http://community.webshots.com/user/bloomar See u around Mary

Congratulations on your featured album. It is just gorgeous! I know from my own way the problem with local people is some will not be photograph other take the hole photo. are breathtakingly beautiful.
