A peoples who know how to protect themselves in harsh but beautiful enviroments are not so ancient as much as they have gained wisdom-protecting themselves from HUGE sandstorms & etc. is simply SMARTS!! The beauty comes from that-hence the unusualy gorgeous archatecture & the way the buildings twirl into spirals of inner structure that compete with any 'modern' building!!
