I have enjoyed very much all of your albums, particularly the Alaskan pictures. May I ask, what causes the dotted line outlines on some of the mountains? In the picture, "Fireweed&qu ot;, from the album Alaska-the Inside Passage, this is quite noticable. The composition and color are outstanding. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Gary - you have some terrific shots here with excellent composition. Some of the scenes look familiar. We've been on the Inside Passage, but I have'nt posted my photos yet (not as good as yours). Best regards from NJ - Jim

I love this album. #15, Fireweed, is perfect. I lived in Juneau for 3 years and ice skated at Mendenhall gracier. It was nice to revisit. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful photos. Caroline Louisiana USA.

Hi Gary! Congrats on New Orleans being featured today but I also had to pop in here. Alaska has some kind of hold on me. I've never been fortunate enough to go (my name implies I have the soul of a gypsy - but unfortunately the feet of a hermit) but long to. I always ask everyone that has been or is going if they have read the James Michner novel "Alaska". I prefer nonfiction myself but he mixes fiction/nonfiction so that much of the history of Alaska is revealed during the book. Fascinating! This album is a glorious sight to behold! You are truly talented at capturing the innate beauty in ALL things. In #11 you managed to pick up all of the slight differences in the blues and greens ....how the heck did you do it?? I salute you!! Jeanie/Arkansas

I enjoyed this slide show. I lived in Juneau for four years. I have ice skated on the Mendenhall Glacier many times. Alaska is the most beautiful state in the USA. I am so glad you got to see it. I see you have a volume 2 that I must see. Later, Caroline Louisiana USA.

Beautiful pictures of the inside p####age. I went through earlier this summer on a very foggy day. It was still beautiful and made for some interesting pictures.

My family lived in Juneau from 1951 to 1957. We used to go to Mendenhall glacier to get ice for our ice box…literally. Everytime I get homesick, I go to Webshots to find pictures of Alaska. Your pictures were “ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING”! Thanks for the memories. robie

My son recently went to Alaska and I love seeing what else other people took there. Thank you for sharing. Love Lake Mendehall and the glacier photos. The sundeck on the Lido was a great shot also. Looked like a great way to travel thru Alaska.
