  • Dearest Jacques, Your wonderful photo of the Val di Funes popped up on my computer screen and I couldn't resist another visit to this beautiful place which was my introduction to you 5 years ago! Hope you are well - I am so busy at work I have little time to browse or post anything. Love, Beth

  • Dear Jacques! The pictures in this album are an ideal setting for the Pastoral symphony #6 of Beethoven. This is how I have always imagined the setting. Your pictures of the Dolomiten have strengthened my resolve to visit the place, though we have been planning for a long time. What a gem of an album with the verdant landscapes, quaint churches and flower bedecked houses! And, the mountain peaks soaring majestically so high! The weather must have been very brazing and clear, judging from the pollution free blue sky. I enjoyed the album - it is certainly one of your best. Suresh

  • Hi. Firstly your photo's of the Italian Apls a amazing! Secondly I have a bit of a different request here. I am trying to find out the name and location of the little chapel standing alone with the Dolomites in the background. It's a beautiful picture and would love to see the real thing on our trip later this year. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards, Mark

  • Hello Clement - thanks for your nice comments in my Perigord album. I went to look at my list of favorite users and you weren't there! I was sure I added you, but who knows? Anyway, you are there now. Enjoy your trip and when you return I will have more albums ready, including one with our friend Ruggero who took us around for the day! Oh, and by the way - the bicycling albums are not my photos but my sister's. She asked me to post them for her. Warm regards, Beth

  • Fabulous photos! Thank you for sharing them. We (my husband, Les, and I) also love to travel and have just returned from France and Italy. We visited the Val di Funes because of YOUR photo and went straight to St. Johannes. You will see our results in a week or two if you visit my webshots pages. I am starting with the France half of our journey and working my way forward. I have added you to my favorite users so I can keep up with your great photography adventures. Thanks and warm wishes from California, Beth

  • WOW! I'm breathless! Been to Italy just once and while we did visit the North (Luino & Lake Magiorre to Venice), we did not see the Dolomite area but are planning a trip later this year and will definitely include that area! PLEASE, if you can email me separate and offer suggestions, I would appreciate it tremendously! bubbao1@earthlink.net. BEAUTIFUL photos!!! Thank you for sharing! Yolanda from Southern California, USA.

  • I continued the trip with you to the Dolomites - the story behind the first photo illustrates very well the time we live in : the goldena age of digital photography. And your photo is better than the one in the gallery !

  • Ciao Jacques, very kind of you for message. I know very well your country (Italy of course where I live) and I can say that your photos are fantastic! I like Corse island: coasts, sea and mountains. I suggest you a visit soon. Ciao

  • Hello again, Jackque... You have truly captured the flavor of the Italian Dolomites as I recall them on a trip from Germany to Venice via the Alps. It is a beautiful area that most Americans do not visualize when thinking of Italy. I'm so glad you had the opportunity to visit White Sands, New Mexico for the Moonlight Stroll. I have not done that yet, but hope to someday. That sunset trip I took was my first time down into the park, though I'd passed by on the highway a number of times. I know I want to go back - just as I'd love to go back to Europe for a visit. Thank you for sharing your photos and reminding me of some very nice times.
