  • Thanks for the great photos. I got to spend 6 weeks on the arm in 1976, and haven't seen such great views of it since then!

  • I was excited to see your photos. I grew up in Anchorage, and unfortunatly have not been back in over two years. I laughed out loud to see the picture of the broken down house near Portage. My family used to make fun of me by saying that, that was my dream home!!! Thank you for sharing Alaska and bringing back some fond memories! Shawna

  • Thanks so much for sharing these photos - my husband and I lived in Anchorage for 10+ years (left in '90) and I miss it terribly. We moved to his family farm in Kansas, and needless to say not many majestic mountains here.
