Hello, nice boat, looks like an old LCM-6 - made into a fishing boat. A friend in the Navy wanted to run one of these boats up the Colorado, but it didn't pan out. Would've made a good sight-seeing boat, that's for sure. These handled quite nice and turned on a dime. A bit loud, diesel smoke and all, but they will get you where you want to go, and back and while they're warming up, you can actually lay on the engine and get warm. Thanks for the look. Hiya....stumbled across your beautiful pictures searching for sites pertaining to Nikiski, Alaska. My husband has family up there and we are planning to visit them in May for the very first time. Your photos made me want to leave today =) Thanks!!!!

I went clam digging many times growing up, and not once did I take a picture of Ninilchik, thanks for the flood of great memories.
