Originally from Cornwall, England. She lived in Grass Valley, CA and married William Nankervis who worked as a supervisor in the goldmines. She gave birth to 13(or 14) children. My grandmother was her 13th and last living child born. She died 10/04/1906 from "dropsey and heart failure" when my grandma was 8 yrs old.
