The broad road paved with slabs winds down to the valley floor and the Yesildere (Degirmendere) River. Just above the river's source, in a valley to the south of Sütçüler, there is a colony of griffin vultures on a sheer cliff. Within the canyon the clear water of Yesildere is swelled by abundant springs and it takes the name Göksu.
