In the name of all the French Polynesia's residents, I wish to say that we grieve for all the innocent victims of the horrendous criminal attacks against New York and Washington and that we pray for you, Americans, our dear friends. On the 8th of September, just 3 days before this new day of infamy, I was guiding and accompanying a group of 41 American citizens on their sightseeing tour along the west coast of Tahiti; the weather was so nice, the lush vegetation all around us invited us to enjoy
