What you can't see in the picture is the look on my face as i try to take yet another step down. my left knee, which became sore from running earlier this year, was behaving very bad. although i did all it takes to keep in good condition, this decline was too much. in a sign of solidirity, Maya's left knee started to ache as well. so we both took it slow, walking sideways and keeping our left leg straight as much as we could.
