at first, it's hard to tell what is going on. it is smaller than other Inca cities, area-wise, but it is so well preserved and so beautifully built, that you just can't take your eyes off it. i keptthinking how amazing this moment was for Bingham who discovered this place in 1911. of course, if it was cloudy that day, he would have probably missed it...
