the Nazca civilization lived in this place more than a 2000 years ago. these Mummies are really old. they were perfectly preserved for more than a 1000 years until the grave robbers found this place and robbed it. they left the mummies outside. for years the mummies simply lay out in the open field, in the sun and wind, and in 20 years, all the preserved organs were gone.
