Time to go home to Honolulu. Tuckie & Billie stayed there a week this time. There were no phones in Papeete at this time, but here on the main street was a restaurant called VAIMAS wich had a bulletinboard out on the sidewalk, and if you wanted to see or confer with any one in town, you put a note on that board. It was called the COCOTIE pronounced (COCO TEE A) WHICH IN TAHITIAN IS THE COCONUT TELEGRAPH. Your message would be delivered, and you would hear from whoever you wanted
