This is a view from the incredible Barrier's Meteor Crater in Arizona. It's huge being 3 miles across and several hundred feet deep! Around the turn of the 20th Century, it was unsuccessfully mined for valuable minerals. Finally a 3rd syndicated company discovered that the meteor's remains weren't in the center of the crater as first thought, but over against one side of the crater's walls! That location is on the wall to the left of the picture.
