This is one of my favorite towns. I could see it off in the distance about 5 or 6 minutes before I arrived in the middle of town. The two-story dark brick structure rising out of the prairie is a relatively large schoolhouse. Sadly the school and other commercial buildings in town are all boarded up. Only a couple of homes and trailers remain occupied. It looks like the town is nearly dead.
