The Quebec - New York border. US 9 parallels I-87 in upstate New York, so it no longer crosses the border, it just ends here in a cul-de-sac. I originally drove US 9 on Fourth of July weekend in 1990. The photographs were taken on several different trips between the mid-1990s and 2004.
