Our new location was the Panoramic Hotel inAuronzo Di Cadore. We drove up the toll road to Cime de Laveredo/Drie Zinnen. Past the rifugios we took a via Ferrata to the summit of Paterno. Paterno is the left peak. Note the keyhole window in the rock at the center of the frame. The trail starts right of the frame, crosses the face on the obvious ledge and passes through the keyhole.
