Album Info:

This unassuming adobe building is the Spanish Governor's Palace. The building was completed in 1749. It was originally a Commandancia (presidio commander's residence), and later represented the seat of Texas government when the city was made the capitol of the Spanish province of Texas. After serving as retail space in the 1800s, the building was restored to its former glory between 1929-1931.
