Album Info:

This is the conservatory of the Texas Governor's Mansion. The room was part of a 1914 addition, and serves as the family's dining room and informal entertaining area. The Baltimore breakfront houses half of the Governors' Memento Collection. (The other half is in the large parlor.) Among the more notable items in the collection are a Union Civil War sword that belonged to Governor Edmund J. Davis and a silver, turquoise, and amethyst necklace and earrings set from Governor Ann Richards.
