  • Hi, I'm a student artist submitting work to the Scholastic Art and Writing awards this year. I made a piece that includes a drawn recreation (with some changes) of the elk in this photo. With the exception of the fairly realistic elk - which, again, has been modified - the piece is highly personalized and a bit surreal, and I have no intention of stealing your intellectual property. With your permission, I would like to submit my art to Scholastic listing your photograph as a source. PLEASE RESPOND AS SOON AS YOU CAN, as the deadline for submission is January 17th.
