This according to a Canarian folk song (see for yourself.!)The Teide lies -together with some other volcanoes- in a mountain range of the mighty volcanic crater Cañadas del Teide with a diameter of TWENTY kilometers. This spectacular -3718 meters high Strato volcano is only a mere 500.000 years old (this is considered young…). Teide is the highest mountain of Spain; its top often covered in snow till late in spring. It is part of the awesome Teide National Park.
