Celina was founded in 1876 as a cotton comunity servimg the North Texas area ~~Located about 60 miles northwest of Dallas in Collin County between McKinney & Denton~~most of the folks grew up in this area & have stayed close to home~~very friendly people who love & support their "Bobcats" in all the athletic ,along with the scholastic activities of the Celina School System~~
