  • Yes, it sure is different from in the 60's when all the houses were there. The street was always lined with cars, and kids riding bikes. I believe this pic is from the south end where you lived looking north towards the entrance road that went by the hospital. I lived at the very opposite end from you, in the 5th unit on the right as you entered this street from the other end. Since you guys had a hill, sometimes we would talk Dad into taking us to your hill in the car and tying the tobaggan to the bumper of the car as we went down your street towards the dead end at the woods. In the summertime my buddies and I would scream down the hill as fast as we could on our bikes, and try to make the turn to the right onto the crossroad just before the end without wiping out.
