Album Info:
This is where my housing unit used to be. I took this picture facing the front of where it was, looking out towards what used to be the field in back of our unit.

As I remember, this was looking east and there was another main street with another row of houses towards the trees you see in these pictures. It also seems to me that you were a few units up from the street that went across to the other side. That street was not nearly as long as Hickam Dr. I do not remember the name of the other long street that went parallel to Hickam. Sometimes the housing made L turns into this space, and more units were in the middle with a grass area between them like a courtyards. All of those houses addresses always ended in Court. My future stepmother lived in the first Court down Hickam from our house. That was Allbrook Court. When I went back to Loring in 2000, our house on Hickam had already been leveled. Edna's house on Allbrook had its windows and doors removed. I walked into what was left of it. It felt like a time warp from a sci-fi movie made almost 40 years later.

There used to be a little merry go round and a slide and these two little animal things with big springs under them.
