“Bokbaaivygies” are hardy succulents that bloom for a short week or two during August-September. The flowers are phototropic and one has to be on their sunny side to see how pretty they are. As the sea-breeze cools down the afternoon, they close – only to open up again the next day when the sun is up and it is warm enough.
