Sumptuous gardens each Summer (here 2004).Clichy population was around 50,000 persons on 1999 count; Our town has now five twin cities: Heidenheim in Germany since 1959, Sankt Polten Capital of Lower Austria since 1969, Santo Tirso in Portugal famous for its Vinho Verde since 1991 , Rubi in Spain near Barcelona in May 2005, Southwark in the heart of London with reputed landmarks as Tower Bridge, London Eye and Tate Modern Gallery, twinning also signed in 2005; New projects are running with Roman
