THE ENTRANCE This is the most imposing part of the abbey. The massive front (its height is 41 metres) is characterised by a particular colourful and geometrical combination of the straight lines of the iron-grey skirting - board and the curved lines of the greenish church, combined with the central apse and that extraordinary gallery made of fine small arches which represents one of the best examples of Romanesque apsidal loggias.
