This is near North Platte, where we spent the night. Cody Park was enjoyable. It had a small amusement park for kids, a small zoo, and a railroad exhibit with a steam locomotive, diesel locomotive, and a few rail cars, all of which you could walk through. They practically had to throw me out when they were closing up. North Platte is also home to the Bailey Yard, a huge freight classification yard for the Union Pacific Railroad.
