This mosque is in Medinah. The original direction that Muslims face when they pray was towards Jerusalem. However, the Prophet Muhammad recieved a message while praying in this mosque to change directions and face the Kabah in Makkah. So in the middle of the prayer, he turned to face the Kabah, and this Mosque still shows both directions 1400 years later.
