This was the elementary school through grade 6, across from the commissary to the east, and the golf course to the south. The high school was about 600 yards north, up 8th Army Drive. IT was grades 7-12 until the '69-70 school year, at which time grades 7-8 were broken out into a "middle school" (though the administration was the same and the classroom and teachers were shared by thougth Sr and Jr high classes). To the left was a field where the high school practices soccer and had games. As a matter of fact, basketball and wrestlilng were held in the elmeentary school gymn. Oh that's another example of how the JR/SR highs were split in name only: I "lettered" in wrestling in the 8th grade.
