When Christopher began playing one of my first thoughts was, -Wow! If ever there was an instrument that gave understanding to the name of the instrument - pianoforte - this is it.- It looked like the keys were hardly being touched, but the music took your breath away.

According to Christopher, this Steinway was one of the last ones built in the 19th century, on December 31, 1900.
