Everything is covered with dust... a reminder that 100 years ago there was nothing here but sand! Now Tel Aviv is the hub of the largest metropolis in Israel, populated by 1 or 2 million people (depending on what cities are included), though Tel Aviv-Jaffa itself is home to 365,000.
