Hello. I lived in Baumholder,Ge in military housing. When I left in 2004 they only had apartment housing. I do believe you can ask to get off base housing in the city. This is Smith house and I believe this was officer housing. It was being remodeled when I lived there. They have Dog walk areas but no backyards. I hope I have answered your questions? Hello, I came across this pic that I assume is also military housing. Where is it or what's the name of this housing area? Our family will be relocating to Germany next year around May and the only housing I've seen on-line in Germany is 'hotel' or apartment type of housing (which we don't really like). We have 2 kids + a dog - does it have a backyard? Any info would be appreciated since we have never lived outside of the U.S. Currently, we live in Texas, U.S. Thanks.
