The air station was a mobile communications unit. Most of the buildings were mobile. You won't find much left.

When we left Prum in 1973 the tower was being built at the time we were told it was for AFN.

My dad also worked on this tower. It was used to pick up AFN (Armed Forces Network). I guess you can call it a television tower.
