I am Patty Wiener. I lived in Prum from 79-82. I had two sons, Scott Wiener and Bryan Wiener and had a daughter 6 months before we left Prum. My husband was Major Wiener who worked with Major Nix. The photo is the Commissary. We lived in housing the last six months we were there. If anyone knows me, it would be nice to make contact. pattnurse@yahoo.com .. please write. Thanks.

That would be the commissary. I was there twice in the 80s.

I also lived there. I went to Pruem elementary school. Mr. McMillian was my 5th and 6th grade teacher. And Frau Schroder was the German teacher. I so miss that place. It is the Commisary and if you walked across the street it was the AYA. And at the time I was there Mary Morrison was the manager. Oh and those stairs we had to walk up to get to the school..I hope to hear from someone who lived there. My email is daddys_girl19752001@yahoo .com

As a matter of fact, it is the old AYA. There is an old basketball hoop hanging from it.

I lived there from '78 to '83. This really looks like the old commissary but last I heard the commissary was turned into a medical clinic. This just might be the old AYA (American Youth Association).

I think this was the small commissary that was in the housing area. We lived there from 1984-88.

If this old building is on the hill above the housing, it was the old elementary school for the military children. If it is the last building from town, it was the commissary. I was there from 57-60.
