this stuff looks harmless, but it can breed some serious pain. kaoliang is a liquor kinmen is very famous for producing, and it is made from distilled sorghum. farmers grind the sorghum by putting stalks in the streets so that cars do the work for them. i would describe the alcohol as gasoline-like, not that i've ever tried gasoline. you could run your car on kaoliang, but it will destroy a person.
