Looking South from West of Martyr's Square. The first building on the left is the former Opera (now a Virgin Megastore). The building in the center of the shot is the Azarieh building, rennovated today. The area that divided the city between East and West was also known as the "Greenline" due to the large amounts of plantations that grew from out of the ground, as seen here.
