Album Info:

This lens glowed for the first time on July 31, 1910. It flashed at 10-second intervals across more than 20 miles of Lake Superior's navigable waters but is no longer an active aid to navigation. It is officially lit one night a year to remember the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald. All I know is that it was "lit-up" with sunshine while we were there!
