I drove US 34 from end to end in September 2005. The road begins southwest of Chicago where at one time, US 34 and US 66 diverged. According to my map, this is in Berwyn, Illinois. A sign on US 34 states this is Riverside though, and the motel in the photo has a Lyons mailing address.

usroadman, I live in this area. The photo was taken in Riverside, Illinois. The left side of the street is Lyons, Illinois. This was taken just west of State Route 43 (Harlem Avenue). East of Harlem Avenue is Berwyn, Illinois. garrhale
