Washington National Cathedral's Christmas Angel
gbjphotoworks > albums > Washington National Cathedral - Sta...
Album Info:
On sunny days, shortly after noon, in the weeks leading up to Christmas, the stained glass light projection seen here appears high in Washington National Cathedral's east end, between two carved stone angels and above the Cathedral's main altar. Brightly visible from certain locations in the far end of the room, one-tenth of a mile away, this beautiful vision has become known as "The Christmas Angel".

These are the most beautiful stained glass pictures I've ever seen. I have taken a lot myself, but always of the windows, never of the light projections. You've given me a new way to look and a more cheerful view of the cathedral than I saw in "West Wing"
