Sunrise view at Fairfield Park, Amherstview. At the background just above the bench is the rainbow effect 'Ice Halo' of the sun popularly called Sun Dogs. Ice crystals in the athmosphere thru refraction is responsible for it's rainbow like appearance. The photo shows only the left side of the sun's ice halo. It's going to be a cold week when you see sun dogs.
