The Susa Valley (Italian Val di Susa), lies in the region of Piedmont in upper Italy, between the Graian Alps in the north and the Cottian Alps in the south. It extends over approximately 50 km in an east-west direction from the French border to the outskirts of Turin. The valley of the city Susa, which because of the western end, has its name.
