Album Info:

The Heaviside dolphin was discovered by Captain Haviside, an employee of the British East India Company who transported the first known specimen from the Cape of Good Hope to England in 1827. Due to a spelling error, the dolphin was given an extra ‘e’ and is now known as the Heaviside dolphin, although it is a small dolphin, and not heavy by dolphin standards, not even on its side. Some purists refer to them by the correctly spell name, ‘Haviside’. To add to the confusion, it is also known as the Benguela dolphin. Their scientific name is Cephalorhynchus heavisidii.
