Greetings from South Africa. In your Bookmarks (I've been peeking)you mention you'd like to take pix like the people at Superstock. Why? Many of these photo library shots are digitally manipulated, remastered, remixed and otherwise tweaked and fiddled with. They're beautiful, but a lot of them simply aren't real. Yours are. I agree, beautiful shot. Although I have to admit, I'd be curious to see the various effects too. (I do it with my own photos sometimes.) Got Photoshop? Lots of free brushes, actions, etc. for that app. Good luck!

i really love this shot Brent, it has a magical, ethereal feel to it...composition, lighting superb as usual.....great capture. It was interesting reading the comments made some months back about editing/ photoshop....personally I have no problem with photos being improved.....I wish more people would do this...especially cropping, colour balance, and removing distracting objects...but I find the more one learns about camera technique and composition, the less one needs to do it. However no amount of editing will make a badly composed shot into a great one! I think your work is terrific. cheers, Lorraine
