Glad to see a landscape that got my attention more that the others the last few days.This picture has several things going for it... the angle of the palm trees continues through the small jetties of rock into the water, the sun has a scribe of light leading up to it, the siloette of the palms is nice, and the lighting of the sunset is very nice. The photo seems unretouched, which is bold thing to do! =D If you did retouch, maybe experiment with the blue sky? I am an advanced novice not a pro by no means but an artist at heart. Keep up the Great Photos & Happy New Year 2009!

Somewhere in the state of Hawaii I'm sure there's at least one debris-filled alleyway accentuated with overflowing trashcans. I mean--there's just gotta be. However, one would have to look for weeks and weeks to find it. There's scarcely any way a bad picture could ever be taken of this famous location. (Hey! that rhymes!) That being said, this is an absolutely GORGEOUS photograph. It's not just "pretty" or even "scenic"--there is a depth, mystery, texture, and brilliance to this pic that makes it a true classic. Very good work! I was having kind of a sh1tty morning until I gazed at this; it improved my mood considerably. Thanks for that. :D
